Tips alteration - the finishing touch to your wedding dress

Once you find the perfect wedding dress for your big day, you will need to make changes like a glove. Even if your dress is going very well, chances are that you will still need to obtain a hem or agitation. No frets or tears but because there are some incredibly talented seamstresses who can wave their magic wand fairy dust and transform yourself into Cinderella ready for your first big dance!


Here are some tips to help you in the process:

 1) Leave it to the professionals- Bridal stores have a lot of on-site alteration. It is wonderful that you can get a full service in one place. Even if your mother or grandmother would know how to sew, we recommend that you leave your wedding dress in the hands of a professional seamstress. If the bridal shop does not have a site on the department changes, ask them if they recommend or work with a company. They will give you references.

2) Ask before you buy-If you buy a dress that  you want to make some changes to the design, make sure you get a quote before buying altering the dress. Professionals will be able to guide you in what is feasible in beadwork and structural work is very tedious. Changes can become expensive and there is nothing worse than buying a dress and then pay double. If you want changes, make sure your budget in this way, it will not be a surprise. 



3) Bustle- If you have not already bought a wedding dress before, odds are you do not know what "bustle" is exactly. And no, this is not a dance move! To get your dress from the ceremony to the reception animation is involved. Essentially, it is a method of pulling up your train on the back of the dress so that you can move freely and not be stepped on dance lessons.
